2021-2022 Registration Now Open

Dear Academy Students and Parents,

 We are excited for the upcoming 2021-22 Academy School Year, especially after a very difficult year. Please see attached the 2021-2022 academy school year schedule, tuition rates, dress code and 2021-22 academy calendar.

Please Note: If you have not already been contacted on an individual basis by the directors, your student has been evaluated and is approved to move up into the next level for the 2021-22 school year. 

Tuition Rates

With the continuous increase in business operational expenses, we have evaluated North Texas area dance school tuition rates. The general market tuition rate is 30-50% higher than Hathaway Academy of Ballet. We will be increasing the academy tuition an average of 10%-15% and this keeps our rates below the regional average.

Current Student Registration Procedures

To register go to www.hathawayacademyofballet.com and register through the Current Student Login & Registration button. Please use the email address from this notice as it is the email on file. Do not use a new email so that you do not create a second or new account. If you need to update any information, we can assist you with any changes.

Dress Code

There has been changes and updates to the academy dress code for the Student and Pre-Professional Divisions. Please take a close look as we have designated specific brands/colors of tights and leotards for the 2021-22 school year. All uniform items are available at Sandy's, please don't hesitate to ask them for assistance in order to make sure you purchase the correct attire.

Performance Opportunities

Dance is Performance Art

Academy Student Division students have the opportunity to perform in Nutcracker and in the academy’s Young Children’s Ballet and the Hathaway Performance Ensemble. Pre-Professional Division have the opportunity to participate in the Collin County Ballet Theatre Youth Ensemble. These performance ensembles provide performance opportunity for the students and develops them as young growing young artists to excel in the art dance performance.
