General Ballet Class Teaching Philosophy

We believe that it is important for young ballet students to be educated properly in the principles and fundamentals of ballet and dance technique. Our teachers place a high emphasis on the explanation of terminology in their instruction in order for students to gain a better understanding of what they are being taught, and for them to be able to approach their instruction in an anatomically correct manner.

When a child grows up in a structured ballet and dance class environment their mental and physical work ethic is expanded. Students want to learn correctly, and can develop a passion for the art of ballet and dance when they truly understand what they are doing. It is our goal to provide a class environment for our students that facilitates a sense of self-worth and pride, with an increased drive to excel.
